What we expect from you
- Management of the field sales team: Responsibility for the management, motivation and development of the field sales team, which looks after DIY stores and branches of electronics stores.
- Target and strategy implementation: Implementation of sales strategies and targets in the assigned regions in order to achieve sales targets and strengthen market presence.
- Implementation of local marketing activities: coordination and implementation of marketing campaigns and sales promotion measures in the stores, including promotional placements and POS material. Ensuring brand presence and optimal product placement in collaboration with the store teams.
- Relationship management: Maintaining and expanding business relationships with store managers and decision-makers at the locations visited to ensure optimal product placement and availability.
- Performance monitoring and optimization: analyzing sales figures, holding regular team meetings and developing measures to improve performance.
- Reporting and communication: Regular reporting to sales management and coordination with other departments, such as marketing, to ensure a consistent customer and brand strategy.
- Training and coaching: Identifying training needs and delivering training to strengthen the team’s sales skills and product knowledge, including communicating brand values and product benefits to store associates.
What sets you apart
- Experience in field sales: Several years of professional experience in field sales, preferably in the DIY and/or electronics sector.
- Leadership experience: Proven experience in leading and motivating a team, ideally in the field.
- Knowledge of marketing and POS management: Understanding of marketing activities and sales promotion measures in retail, especially with regard to implementation on site.
- Analytical skills: Ability to evaluate sales data and develop optimization measures.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills: Strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
- Organizational talent and willingness to travel: High level of self-organization and willingness to travel regularly.
