Our agency works on behalf of MIDEA, a leading international manufacturer of household appliances and home appliance solutions, which stands for innovative, reliable and future-oriented products for the modern household.
As a merchandiser (m/f/d), you are largely responsible for making the MIDEA brand visible in stationary retail. You ensure a professional product presentation, implement POS measures, are regularly present on site and act as a direct brand ambassador to retailers and sales staff.
Your area of responsibility
- Support for a fixed area of operation through regularly scheduled store visits to specialist retailers and defined retail partners
- Ensuring brand-compliant product placement according to planograms
- Targeted POS optimization and professional installation of POS materials and the product range
- Ensuring the cleanliness, tidiness and completeness of the products on the sales floors
- Regular inspection for damage or defects to the store displays and products and reporting to the responsible body
- Checking the completeness of goods and availability of goods Active brand development in the market through presence, personal contact and continuous exchange with sales staff
- Establishing and maintaining stable, trusting contacts with market and department managers
- Independent implementation of product and update training for store employees
- Daily reporting of own activities, developments and news from the markets to the project management
Your skills profile
- Relevant professional experience as a merchandiser, with the planning, implementation and controlling of sales promotion measures, ideally in the CE and/or HA sectors
- An independent, reliable, structured and self-reliant working style
- Experience in the qualification / training of sales staff is an advantage
- High level of enthusiasm, good technical understanding and personal interest in consumer electronics
- Aesthetic flair for marketing installations and superstructures
- A sales-oriented mindset paired with a dynamic, communicative demeanor
- Friendly, confident demeanor in retail – you show presence and build trust
- Very good IT skills and good English skills
- The obligatory willingness to travel for the challenge in the field and a valid car driving license
