Digital innovations in pandemic promotion

In the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vodafone, as one of the leading communications groups, has taken innovative digital measures to maintain operations while ensuring safety. A striking example of this was the campaign in front of the Vodafone store in Dortmund. Vodafone used digital promoters, who were broadcast via livestream to a digital stele in front of the store, to entertain waiting customers and control social distancing. These promoters ensured a pleasant waiting time with customized communication measures and guided passers-by into the store as required, using facial expressions, gestures and storytelling.
